Event Name: The Lineage II Kamael Pre-Launch Gathering
Time: 4.00 p.m. – 9.30 p.m.
The latest expansion of the Lineage 2, The Kamael, was launched at Sky Online Café at Medan Sunway recently.
Even before the event started, there were already early birds at Sky Online hoping to be the first few to catch the first glimpse of the game and of course to redeem the early bird prize.
The in-game activities began in earnest; “The Scavenger Hunt” saw players hunting down 3 characters whereby they will be given simple tasks to perform to obtain clues of the next character and so on. Players had to collect 10 items as part of the final task to win this game. Though it is a simple game, players were very enthusiastic and they could be seen running around the café occasionally to obtain clues for the game.
The “Lucky Dice” was the most awaited activity; it works like a raffle except that the raffle is to enable a player to be called out to take a chance at the dice to roll a 2. A successful roll enables a player to bag the prize. There were many cheers and shouts from players as they were all hoping to bag the main prize and this activity ended extremely well and it helped to end the event nicely. Claps and cheers were given at the end of the event and we could see many happy smiling faces.
Players were seen mingling and having showing off their Lineage 2 characters to one another by logging on to L2. It was a good time for Cubetech and the community of Lineage 2 players to get together and finally to reveal their true selves in person. Though some did not win any prizes, they were still very happy to be there for the event and hope for more events like this to come. |
