This
time we’re hitting up UIAM and it was set in their huge hall with lots
of walking space (thank god there was a lot of space to cater for the
swarms of crowd that came for the Carnival).
This time around we
had our mini-game - the cauldron of power where participants will have
to draw out ping-pong balls from out of the cauldron to form the word
THRONE. It was a big hit – and why not? With every (free) registration,
they will bag home a free Lineage II poster, folder and DVD Game
client. A little challenge does make a world of a difference!
In
fact, we almost finish our stocks on day-1 itself (we really had to
restock the next day) and it was great! We rarely had time to breathe
in there with the non-stop flowage of students (and lecturers as well)
who were trying their luck to win some Lineage II freebies. Some
student even got their friends to register on so that they may try
their luck again at the mini-game!
The students here were amazingly friendly & enthusiastic making
the event extremely lively and happening.
Of
course other gadgets were made available by other exhibitors for the
students to shop and it was a great event that left many with contented
hearts when they left, thus making this a really good end of the run
for the last event of the Carnival! See y’all next year!
