THE EXTEEL & GOGO RACER SOFT LAUNCH AT THE CIMB PERFECT LIVIN 09 EVENT, PWTC KL

Game service provider CubeTech Asia Sdn Bhd releases two new on-line games into Malaysia and is already receiving positive reactions prior to its launch.

The first title, Exteel is a third-person shooter online game where players control giant mechanaughts against other on-line players. Easy controls, action-packed and a wide array of items best describe Exteel’s game play. This game has been going through its beta stages since 30th March 2009 here and went commercial by the 3rd of June 2009.

Exteel was released on December 4, 2007 and is being successfully serviced in South Korea, Taiwan, North America and Europe under the same free-to-play system.

The second title, GoGo Racer (GGR) is the next-gen online casual racing game that is sure to make the competition eat dust on its tracks. It boasts a wide array of features like anime-inspired graphics, real physics engine, and a limitless customization options for the karts thanks to developers Radiance Digital Entertainment.

But more than an eye candy, GGR boosts its performance credibility because of its strong community-building potential through its multiple race modes that not only encourages healthy competition, but also player bonds in the form of Car Clubs. Car Club is very much like its real-life counterpart where racers bond together to join group races and other activities.

Like Exteel, GGR uses a free-to-play system as well and is already reaching the end of its beta testing stage. Gamers will be able to enjoy full services from the game come end October 2009.

The montage of the soft launch began with a touch from Jason Yap (CEO of CubeTech Asia Sdn Bhd), Fadzly Yusof (CEO of iAM Interactive, Philippines) and Monte (Radiance Digital Entertainment) on the 4 x 4 plasma TVs (following the respective company logos) launching both the games followed by the game trailers.

Continuing the strategic partnership with iAM Interactive Philippines, CubeTech Asia Sdn Bhd has been appointed the official distributor for the micropayments of both the games in Malaysia.

CubeTech Asia Sdn Bhd had recently appointed Vinx, the quarterfinalist of Malaysia’s “Absolute Superstar 2007” and a talented all-rounder musician; the Ambassador for GoGo Racer. Vinx’s debut EP ‘Sunrise’ (published by HLD entertainment) is already out in the market and is already getting airplay on all of the popular Chinese-language radio stations and he is still gaining popularity in his own league. Players may expect Vinx to make surprise appearances during road shows and future promotions for GoGo Racer.
